Dr. Chen joined the staff of Pediatric Specialists in 1988 coming from his position as a staff physician at the Connecticut Pediatric Group Practice. Dr. Chen was born in Taiwan and attended a combined seven year college and medical school program at the Kaohsiung Medical College. He graduated in 1978. He trained at the University of Wisconsin Affiliated Program at St. Joseph's Hospital and the Marshfield Clinic. Pediatric Specialists has been fortunate to have Dr. Chen as part of the practice since 1988 where he continues to provide gentle, knowledgeable and compassionate care for his patients.

Besides his interests in general pediatrics, Dr. Chen enjoys music, reading and travel. He is very active in his church group and served an elected term as elder.
