History and Overview of Practice

Pediatric Specialists was founded in 1976 by Dr. Arthur Giuliano as a new solo practice, which was originally housed in the basement office on Church Street in Foxborough, Massachusetts.For some time the office consisted of Dr. Giuliano and Mrs.Henriette Sinclaire who worked as receptionist and bookkeeper and we are proud to say continues to work as the bookkeeper for the practice.  The practice remained a solo practice until 1980 when Dr. Giuliano brought in a nurse practitioner. In 1984 Dr, Giuliano developed a relationship with Dr. Robert Willis who was in solo practice in Wrentham, Massachusetts. This relationship continued until 1986 when Dr. Willis moved to Maine to take over a practice there. Dr. Giuliano continued to maintain the two offices in Foxborough and Wrentham and for a brief time employed the services of Dr. Mario Carcamo who was completing his training in pediatric endocrinology and subsequently took a position on the west coast.

Over the period of the ensuing years Dr. Robert Henry, Dr. Dooley Chen, Dr. Leah Spitzer, Dr. Dianne Pacheco, Dr. Joseph Sweeney,Dr. Christopher Giuliano and Dr. Olivia Kim have entered the practice.Dr. Sweeney left the practice in 2004. Pediatric Specialists has been fortunate to also have had the services of several talented nurse practitioners and PA's over the years. Judith Shea Vaillancourt, Nancy Callan, Margaret Rudd Arieta, Nancy DelGiudice,Gina Muccio, Carrie Essex and Kathy Mansfield provide a contingent of capable practitioners who provide an effective and professional role at both office of Pediatric Specialists.

Pediatric Specialists is also proud of a professional team of nurses, managers and clerical staff working diligently to make your child's experience at Pediatric Specialists as pleasant and efficient as possible. Like any other good business Pediatric Specialists is always looking for ways to improve the practice and patient input has always been appreciated and taken seriously.

Pediatric Specialists takes great pride in serving the youth of our many area towns. With most of our providers and staff living in the surrounding towns (Mansfield, Norton, North Attleboro,Attleboro, Sharon, Norfolk,Walpole, along with Foxborough and Wrentham) we hopefully are aware of most of the local issues and happenings which might impact on your child's health. We are not visitors to the area we serve but residents of the area with  many of our children attending the local schools and involved in the same activities as our patients.Our sense of communitiy is very important at Pediatric Specialists.

Pediatric Specialists is housed at two offices: 132 Central Street, Suite 116 Foxborough, Massachusetts and 155 South Street, Wrentham, Massachusetts.
