We encourage our patients to use our extended hours to avoid unnecessary visits to emergency rooms or walk-in clinics, which often have higher copays.
Our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 8 PM. Foxboro handles evening appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 PM to 8 PM, while Wrentham handles them on Monday and Thursday during the same hours. Weekend coverage is available either at our Foxboro office or at Pediatric Associates in Norwood. The weekly schedule is posted on our Updates Tab, our Facebook page and can also be obtained by calling our office.
If the office is closed, you can still reach the physician or Night Nurse. Phone calls after hours go through our answering service, which relays your message to the provider on call. If urgent, please inform the service so they can expedite your message. For extreme emergencies, dial 911 first.
Late-night calls are handled by NightNurse Pediatrics, a service provided by trained triage nurses. They can offer advice and contact your provider if needed. This service has received excellent feedback and helps providers rest for the next day.
Please use discretion when calling after hours. If your child’s condition is not urgent, consider waiting until the next day when our full staff can assist you. Weekend and holiday hours are reserved for sick visits and may vary depending on demand.
